The Motus AY System is faster and pain-free
This new and unique laser hair removal device uses a specialist new technology: Moveo. The reason why we are so excited about this is that the Moveo Hair Removal system, enables successful treatment of the widest range of skin types, hair colours and textures from all parts of the body and is considered by dermatologists as “most effective in laser hair removal treatments” (Alexandrite) but in a new ‘pain-free’ mode!
Skin Types
Moveo treats all Photo-types from fair skin to dark skin, including Skin Type 6 (black skin). The great thing about the machine is that also has the nd:YAG Laser option which is renowned for treating skin types IV – VI.
Traditionally laser hair removal has only suitable for the treatment of hair removal on fair skin as darker skin contains far more of the same pigment that can be targeted and damaged by this wavelength.
Our new Laser has overcome this issue through the development of Moveo technology and now all skin types of all colour may be treated safely and effectively.
Hair Colours
One of the things are most pleased about is that the Moveo utilises an Alexandrite wavelength that successfully targets and treats even fine, light brown hair that has previously been more challenging to treat.
Pain free!
Traditionally, despite the Alexandrite laser being the most effective for laser hair removal, it can be a quite an uncomfortable treatment compared to other alternatives. Our new Motus Moveo Technology helps overcome the uncomfortable aspect of this treatment by changing the way the laser is reflected by the skin, allowing all our clients to receive ‘pain-free’ laser hair removal treatment, with the gold-standard results of a traditional Alexandrite laser.
