Introducing the Carbon Laser Facial at Bare UK

We’re really excited to be adding a new treatment to the Bare UK menu, and this one has been a long time coming.

The Carbon Laser Facial (sometimes called the Hollywood Facial) is a skin rejuvenation treatment that’s been quietly building a reputation for delivering genuinely impressive results, with no downtime and very little fuss. We’ve been doing our research, and we’re confident it’s a great fit for our clients.

What Is a Carbon Laser Facial?

The Carbon Laser Facial uses a Q Switch ND:YAG laser, the same technology we use for tattoo removal here at Bare UK, in combination with a specialised carbon solution applied to the skin.

The carbon acts as a deep cleanser, absorbing into the pores and binding to excess oil, dead skin cells, and impurities. When the laser passes over the skin, it vaporises the carbon along with everything it’s picked up, leaving the skin noticeably cleaner, clearer, and more radiant.

The whole treatment takes around 45 minutes, it’s comfortable throughout, and clients typically leave the clinic looking and feeling like a better version of themselves. Many describe their skin as “glowy” immediately afterwards, with results that continue to improve over the following weeks.

What to Expect: The Treatment Step by Step

For anyone who likes to know exactly what’s involved, here’s how a Carbon Facial session works at Bare UK:

• A thorough, soap-free antioxidant cleanse to prepare the skin
• Application of the carbon solution, followed by a gentle thermal pass with the laser to dry it into the pores
• A Q Switch laser pass to remove the carbon. Comfortable, quick, and oddly satisfying
• A final thermal sweep to warm the skin and stimulate collagen activation
• Application of your targeted RegimA serum, finished with SPF

From start to finish, allow approximately 45 minutes. It’s a genuinely relaxing treatment; the kind where you arrive looking a little tired and leave looking considerably better.

How to Get Started

As with all laser treatments at Bare UK, a patch test is required before your first Carbon Facial. It’s bookable online, takes about 10 minutes, and costs £40, which is fully redeemable against your first main treatment.

After a minimum of 48 hours, you’ll be ready to book your main session. Individual treatments are £150, and a course of four can be purchased at a 20% discount (£480 including the patch test), with sessions recommended every six weeks for the best results.
